Over the Bank Holiday weekend I went to hang out with my bestie Chloe Elliot from ChloeinCurve. She lives out in the country and if you’ve kept up with her blog you’ll know she is the queen of luxury. Her photos are set in idyllic countryside aesthetics, her luxury styling is second to none and she always just looks flawless. She’s also a banging stylist, so when we decided I would come to see her for the weekend, we also cooked up a plan for her to style me for a blog post.
As you know, I have been trying out some looks recently that I wouldn’t usually try and I have been trying to stretch my fashion looks more than ever. One look I really wanted to try was what I like to call “Business Bitch”, but for the purpose of this, we’ll just call it Business Luxe. I am quite a determined person and because for the past few years I’ve not had to dress too business-y, I’ve kind of lost my more formal styling abilities. So when Studio 8 sent me this incredible jumpsuit from their new collection, I just knew I had to get Chlo’s help to style it up and make me look Executive REALNESS.
Okay, okay – I think Chlo NAILED the styling of this whole look! Chlo paired this with her Hermes Birkin bag, a pair of flat mules and a leather jacket – all offset with a gorgeous red lip and somehow, she’s managed to make me look luxury business babe but also with my rock edge and I am 100% here for it!
This jumpsuit is a size smaller than I would usually wear at a size 22, but I just love how it fits me. Yes, it gives me a touch of the old FUPA but the quality of the garment is just so beautiful that I actually don’t even care. The jumpsuit comes with POCKETS!!!! and this gorgeous gold belt that slots under and through the angel sleeves to nip you in at your smallest part (if that’s what you’re after with an outfit!) which just adds to the luxe finish of it all.
The jumpsuit itself is a little pricey, but its such a quality garment it is 100% worth the price tag. It’d be so easy to style this down too – just add a pair of trainers, hair up and off you go! I would buy true to size – there is no need to go up or down, but as you can see with how this fits me, a size down wouldn’t be the end of the world. Studio 8’s clothing quality is second to none and it’s clear that Studio 8 really have had plus size bodies in mind when designing their collection.
I feel so comfortable in the outfit although it’s a little out of my comfort zone – it’s just nice to feel so put together, which is what Chlo is so good at. Even the back of the garment is just mega cute too!
