One of the last taboos of being fat, fashionable and visible is the visible belly outline, or the VBO. Now being a fatty who dares to be visible and tries to be fashionable, I also like to push boundaries (like you don’t know that by now!) and so this post is dedicated to my lovely soft body, especially my stomach. Expect nothing but “unflattering” unapologetic photos in this post…
I don’t usually wear trousers or jeans, and if I think about it the reason why is because I am v.conscious of my VBO. In my head, its a giant flashing sign that points to me being a right fatty – but let’s face it, I am fat, I have fat and I will look fat. And that’s okay because fat is just a descriptor. How many times can I say the word fat in this paragraph…? Anyway, I’ve decided that I’ve been an idiot waiting for so long to embrace jeans and in turn here are the BEST JEANS I’VE EVER PUT ON MY BUTT – Black Ripped Skinny Jeans:
Where do I even begin to gush about these dream jeans?! I love the fit of them – true skinny, which is hard to do on my body because I have skinny ankles and chubby everywhere else. I did size up and got a 24R – I am really REALLY glad I did because a 22R definitely would not have fitted me. They are really stretchy though making them really comfortable to walk in and not like other skinny jeans I have tried in the past that were uncomfortable in the leg. I love how these hug my curves – yes even that big one at the front!
I wore my bardot body I got from Simply Be (£18) which helped to give me the smooth appearance I wanted for a top tucked into some jeans. I teamed this with the choker and shoes you saw in my last post (see there for details) and a belt I got free with a dress I bought a while ago. This look is my new sassy erryday look, and I don’t care who knows it!
