REVIEW – Transitional Plus Size Fashion with Studio Eight

REVIEW – Transitional Plus Size Fashion with Studio Eight

I am addicted to Jumpsuits. There I said it. Now can we all just get over it please? Gooooooosh…. I wanted to try something a little out of my comfort zone, something that I could wear during summer AND winter and the wonderful girls at Studio Eight sent me their slinky navy jumpsuit to try, along with a gorgeous red coatigan (think across between a coat and a cardigan!) and I have to say I love the combo!

You can read all about my introduction to Studio Eight here, but for those who want the quick version, Studio Eight is the plus-size sister range to Phase Eight and if you know anything about them you know that quality and comfort are key in their pieces as well as being super stylish!

Plus Size Red Coatigan and Navy Jumpsuit Studio Eight

*Zena Jumpsuit – £99
*Martha Coatigan – £99

The Coatigan has a gorgeous embossed rose print all over it – the material is so thick and luxurious! I felt like a million quid waltzing down the street in this. It’s so easy to dress up as well as down – this would look incredible over some ripped skinnies and a floaty top.

I teamed my outfit with some strappy heeled wide fit sandals from New Look and a gorgeous vintage style metal and velvet box clutch, also from New Look. The lippy is Pro Melts Lipgloss by Freedom Make Up (read about the shades I have in my collection here!)

The jumpsuit on its own is so comfortable to wear and looks incredibly stylish. The draping around the arms and hips are so flattering and the kimono wrap inspired waistline nips you in all the right places. The neckline is flattering and slightly sexy, perfect for late night date nights, but also for office party season!

What do you think girls? Will you be trying Studio Eight this party season? Let me know below!

Absolutely love this outfit, and the choice of colours on you. It’s so flattering AND still bright and lively at the same time. It is something that’s out of my comfort zone, but seeing how good they look on you, it’s tempts me!!

Oh my :O that jumpsuit looks stunning on you! I am on a massive jumpsuit high at the moment (I can’t get over outfits with them but yet to find the perfect one myself)
I love the shoes you’ve worn with them- I’m not a bit strappy sandal fan so seeing them with something a bit chunkier is great:)

You look great, the fit & colour combo are perfect for you. I really like jumpsuits, but have yet to find one that works on me. I’m tall & always find the body part too short resulting in camel toe!!
