The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hooray, the sun has got his hat on and he’s coming out to play…Ahem anyway, as you can tell, I am ultra happy that the sun is starting to make more of an appearance. It means I can start leaving my coat at home, wear more skirts and crack out the sunglasses!
I’ve stumbled across discountedsunglasses.co.uk who sell designer (yep, actual designer) sunglasses at really cheap prices. Genuine designer sunnies are super expensive but what these babes do is snap up sunglasses from previous seasons and sell them on for super cheap. They were lovely enough to send me some glasses from their range of Polaroid sunglasses to review – now usually I am super fussy with choosing sunglasses. My giant face is quite prone to making even the nicest frames look tiny. I found the process of choosing the glasses fine though – the clear photography on the website and descriptions made life a lot easier!
They are soooo good that even my girlfriend Emma stole off with them – in fact, I think she’s stolen them for good… HELP ME! They do look pretty good on her though – the slight cat’s eye curve upwards looks fab on every face shape. I’ve got a huge round head and Em’s is more heart shaped, but they look great on us both, don’t you think?!
They have a really high quality finish on them and they really do block out the sun. So much better than my usual choice of Primark sunnies… ahem! My one criticism is that they are a little bit too tight on my giant head, but if you have a smaller head you’ll be golden! These sunglasses were £35.0o, a HUGE bargain at over 40% off.
Sunglasses really do put a proper spring in your step – it’s amazing what a bit of sunshine and sass can do for a girl! (oh and psssst…that outfit is being reviewed on my blog soon!)
***These sunglasses were sent to me to review. As always, the opinions, sass and badassery are all my own.***
