So I gave you a more casual look at atheleisure earlier on with the help of Evans, but its not all about casuals. I love a good slob about more than anyone, but I also love to get dressed up and make a statement. You can still make active wear make a statement for you by using different elements of fashion and throwing it together with awesome active wear! I’m the self proclaimed queen of 90’s fashion revival, so I knew I had to make a sports luxe look that spoke to my 90’s babe heart.
Here’s my look, head to toe from Simply Be:
Pink Bomber Jacket – £49
Rib Neck Sweater Dress – £24
PU Quilted Backpack – £15
Capsule Active Lace Up Trainers – £22
First of all lads, let me talk to you about these trainers – OMG. They are SO comfortable! These are wide fit, and if you have giant feet like me you’ll know that sometimes it is mega hard to find a pair of trainers that fit. These are the BOMB. I love the rose gold metallic detailing on the back and the eyelets for the laces, it really steps them up a notch!
The backpack is my next favourite part of this look – I mean, have you seen it? It’s a 90’s dream! It reminds me of those blow up backpacks you used to get. I had a blue one and I loved it – I wonder if you can still get them? Anyway, this one is really well made from PU fabric and is super comfy to wear thanks to the quilting that goes all the way from the bag to the straps. Perfect for carrying your camera and horde of make up in, like I was doing in these photos!
The coat is a size 24 and, although its super comfy thanks to the quilting and the length of it, its still slightly too small along the hips for me. The dress is a size 24 also and is *slightly* too small for me, but a 26 would definitely be too large. Simply Be’s sizing has been off for me as of late, I’m not sure what they’ve done or if they have changed suppliers for certain things, but it can be very hit or miss.
