Flirty Floral with JDWilliams and Joanna Hope

Whilst the weather is making it’s mind up, I thought I would bring you something ridiculously summery to either A) really annoy you that it’s raining or B) inspire you into chucking on something bright and floaty for your daily look! Now usually I’m not a huge floral fan, but I love a bright print on a dark background so guess what I have in store for you…

The babes at JD Williams got in contact with me and asked me to review one of their gorgeous summer dresses. I had a look through their items and immediately fell in love with this gorgeous Joanna Hope maxi dress!

Joanna Hope Dress from JD Williams – £39.00

It’s no wonder this is one of JD Williams’ best sellers! This dress comes in UK size 10 all the way up to a UK size 32, and I would say they fit true to size. I think this is a real high quality dress and well worth the £39 price tag. This dress is made of a really light polyester fabric and is so floaty and airy – perfect for a bright warm summer day! I paired this with my amazing beaded clutch bag from Simply Be, some old New Look wide fit sandals and my beautiful Miu Miu sunglasses from Sunglasses Shop.

The straps on this dress are gorgeous – three thin spaghetti-style straps on each side that cross over on the back (which unbutton too, if you get yourself in a mess trying to get in and out of it!). My fave bit has to be the tassels on the tie around the waist. Such a cute little addition that really makes this dress stand out.

So what do you think? Will you be trying this out?

  1. You know, I’m not the biggest floral fan for dresses either but you rock this dress and pattern! I love the length of this dress as well, so classy but still very summery. Also, it goes great with your tattoos!
