I asked Twitter and Instagram to get behind #BoobsOverBellyButtons, a response on the frankly ridiculous #BellyButtonChallenge.
The #BellyButtonChallenge was all about proving how physically fit you are (or how thin you are, as we all know fitness isn’t defined by size), by wrapping your own arm around you like some kind of weird backwards hugging alien and touching your own belly button. Yes, I think it’s stupid too.
The #BoobsOverBellyButtons challenge is asking babely babes of ALL SIZES (yes, not just plus size women!) to take a picture of them grabbing a bit of boob for CoppaFeel and Curvy Kate and raise awareness of what we can do to check for Breast Cancer. If you ask me, teaching women how to check themselves for the early signs of Breast Cancer is a hell of a lot more amazing than proving you can tie your limbs in knots!
Once you’ve gotten to grips with your boobs, you’ll know what ‘normal’ feels like for you, so you can look for subtle changes. Take a look at the below chart for what you should be looking for (copyright CoppaFeel.org):
