Khaki Casual with Evans – #SpottedInEvans

One of the shops that I often used to over look was Evans. I don’t know why, perhaps I was blinded by all the new choices on the high street I forgot about my old fave. When I heard that Evans had worked super hard on improving the fit of the smaller end of the plus size spectrum, I knew I had to revisit them!

Now that I know the fitting has improved for the smaller fats amongst us, I can’t wait to see if they do the same for the higher end of the spectrum – we all deserve to feel good and wear clothes that fit us well after all – but this is a good place for the brand to start. When the babes over at Evans asked if I would review some pieces from their new collection, of COURSE I snapped their hands off!

I had a look through the fashion forward options (well done Evans, really impressed!) and I fell in love with something a bit out of my comfort zone. Well, not entirely out of it, but we all know by now how much I like bright patterns, so for me to go for an all over one colour item in a muted colour is pretty out of the ordinary for me.

Welcome to the Evans Collection Khaki Shirt Dress!*

EVANS COLLECTION KHAKI SHIRT DRESS – £45.00

Ladies, this dress fit me like a DREAM. It was oversize without being too oversize. It caressed my curves and felt delicious against my skin. I love the colour even if it is out of  my comfort zone of brightness!

I styled it with a cute headscarf, my Black Heart Creatives earrings and some ASOS plimsoles for a cute off duty boho vibe. Ugh, I said boho. I’m going to go before I embarrass myself.

***This review includes an item that was gifted to me by Evans for review. As always, my opinions, sass and general bad-assery are my own.***

Oh darling, you look absolutely wonderful! Loving the V Neck Zip detail. I am similar where I like bright colours. I don’t think I’ve ever done Khaki actually!
